  • Successfully persuaded Council to overturn a $100,000.00 city staff added road repair to Excell Academy Charter School
  • Reversed a Planning Commission fence denial which ultimately kept Home Depot from leaving BP
  • Assisted bringing Target Headquarters to BP, adding jobs and increasing our tax base
  • Fought for diversity in the cities’ hiring practices, by removing departments’ “Barriers to Employment”
  • Challenged staff by standing up for what is right even when it was not popular
  • Held department heads accountable for intentionally skewing information to achieve their desired outcomes
  • Instrumental in removing the Point-of-Sale fee for anyone selling their home in BP
  • New restaurants, retail & entertainment for ease of shopping and reducing our travel
